Dean's Award for Excellence

Last week I was honored to receive the 2026 Warner College of Natural Resources Dean's Award for Excellence to an Early Career Faculty Member. I am sincerely humbled by this recognition. Thank you to those who nominated me and wrote letters of support.

This would not have been possible without community. I am deeply grateful to the mentors, colleagues, friends, family, students, and community partners who I have learned with, who have helped support me, and who play a vital role in shaping the work that I do.

I am eager to continue finding pathways to uplift students, collaborate with community partners, and conduct research that supports more just futures. Onward!
